In both horror films and pop music there’s a balance between seduction and repulsion that engages me unlike anything else. My paintings are like if a popstar grew wings and mandibles then murdered you in a beautiful manner. For references, I watch surgeries, look at anatomical studies, and examine the bodies around me. I see the body as a means of expression just as much as paint, and I take “the body” to its furthest extent in each piece.
